Just starting my thread for my desk. Right now I'm working on the Brother Cellanus rewrite and a collection of short stories for self publication. (Hoping to have that out in May 2026!)

Finally finished my second completed draft of Brother Cellanus volume I! It's at a whopping 102k words, more than the original 26k words of the webnovel. I am hoping with some revisions, I can get it under 100k words. I'm still deciding whether or not I will try to find an agent for it or if I want to self publish. But that is a problem for future me!

New YouTube video where I am doing a quick March (April) update.

I'm never sure what my next YouTube video will be, but I do plan to do a review of Love Habit and maybe do a folklore collection type thing like I did for my Halloween video. I might talk about some exempla. Idk yet, but I DO know I want to talk about Love Habit.

My review on Love Habit! Overall, I found this book enjoyable and well researched. An 18+ read though. I'm not one for a lot of smut in my romance though. (Hence the video title that some things in this book were not for me and that's okay!)

I think my next YouTube video will be a review of The Salt Grows Heavy. Or at the very least, I will make that video to have as a back up while I do research for my next video. I still want to do one on medieval demons.

Still editing Brother Cellanus. I've gotten some great feedback and now the manuscript is at 107k words, but I'm hoping to get that down to 106k again. I've also started querying it and so far I have had 17 rejections from agents. Luckily the rejections are coming in fast.

I also am putting out a short story collection titled "Surprisingly Good, Fish Ice Cream" on May 31st, 2026. No monk stories though because I want to prove to people I don't just write about medieval monks lol. (But I do have a story that involves the medieval period and the Exeter Cathedral.)
