Hi! I'm Jude Juggs!

I am the creator of this forum. If you ever have any questions or suggestions or whatever you can always reach out to me 😊 I like to write about, draw, read about, play games about, and think about medieval monks. They are rotating in my head 24/7.

My biggest project is an extended universe of erotic stories about my monk OCs. Set in the 11th century, the Abbey of Guissex is home to all sorts of queer monks and nuns exploring their gender, sexuality, and doing strange Catholic BDSM. I also do other stuff like sew tiny habits for calico critters, write essays, and review bad movies about nuns. My interest in monks is partially academic, I read a lot of papers and books about monastic history, but mostly as a vehicle to write more weird monk porn. I'm a complex woman.



My favorite monk media is the book "The Name of the Rose". I am simply obsessed with Adso's wet little personality as he finds himself entangled in gay drama the likes of which he could never imagine.

Right now, I am reading "How to Focus: A Monastic Guide for an Age of Distraction" by John Cassian, translated by Jamie Kreiner. It's a funny little book. The philosophical writings of 4th century monk John Cassian have been cherry picked to apply to modern audiences. I like how it humanizes the monks, showing them struggling as much with keeping their attention on their goals as we do today. It's because they're always on that damn manuscript.

Anyways, I hope that we can have fun talking about monks and playing together! The most fun part of having a special interest is getting to share it with other people.
