I love me a good digitized manuscript. Here is the link to Bodleian Library MS. Junius 11, which I referenced in my Eilmer of Malmesbury video. It has a lot of images of angels and demons in it. It was likely created around the year 1000.

A few years ago, the British Library's website got hacked and the digitized manuscript database was taken down (RIP). However, they redid the site last year (hurrah!) so I am sharing the link to it now.

Does anyone have a favorite manuscript? I LOVE the Luttrell Psalter and the medieval medical manuscript in Exeter Cathedral's Archive.

This manuscript rules!!!!!
Its so cool to see the art style in earlier manuscripts before they developed that iconic "marginalia" look that everyone loves.

I especially love this page, the details in heaven are so cool and also I like their little line toes :)

The Utrecht Psalter

This website goes to the annotated Utrecht Psalter. It's a really cool website and well worth the look!
